![]() ![]() Without too much spoilers, over the game you get more and more tools to help with basic (and more complex) deliveries, but somehow it avoids getting too stale on that basic task. Or scale insurmountable cliff to get past them other way. You don't even have any weapons to fight them (at first), so it's either going long way round to avoid them or sneak past. Water, mountains, ghosts, raiders and more all are there to make your futuristic postman life miserable. There are hazards of course to block your way. World has gone seriously weird (for lack of better word immediately popping up), and game does not just hand you story of what was or what is, you have to find out by playing and interpreting hints slowly handed out as you progress the story - which happens by doing the the deliveries. You deliver cargo from point A to point B, with occasional pickup from elsewhere (usually somewhere dangerous) first.īut that is selling it short. Yes, in its core it is walking simulator. Got this for free from EGS now (standard version, not Director's Cut) so out of curiosity I installed it and tried it out - and was pretty much immediately hooked.
